I · Strategy and execution

Your challenge, our expertise.

Six questions that directors and business owners most often bring to us in this field. In practice they overlap, and often touch the other pillars too.

01

Business plan and financial plan

A plan that convinces banks and investors, with a financial plan the founders themselves understand and use.

02

Go-to-market

Target audience, proposition, pricing and channels sharply defined, so the first customers arrive sooner and come back.

03

Funding and investors

Own funds, bank, grant or investor: the options weighed up, and a pitch and figures ready for the questions.

04

From founder to organisation

Roles, a first layer of managers and a regular meeting rhythm, so that not every decision still rests with the founder.

05

Processes and numbers that scale

Simple processes, a dashboard and reporting that keep working when customers and headcount double.

06

Board and advisory board

An advisory board or a first independent director, and partner agreements that hold firm as the business grows.

What does a start-up consultant do?

A start-up consultant helps founders make the choices that define a young business: which market first, which revenue model, how much money is needed and from whom. They then help turn those choices into a plan, a first organisation and numbers to steer by.

What is the difference between a start-up and a scale-up?

A start-up is still searching for a model that works. A scale-up has found that model and now has to roll it out quickly and in a controlled way. That second stage demands different things: structure, processes, reporting and leadership that scale.

Do you also help with a funding round?

We help you prepare it: the business plan, the financial plan, the pitch and the answers to the questions a bank or investor will ask. Which source of funding fits best is something we weigh up together.
